The State of Massachusetts has given permission for Places of Worship to resume services this Sunday, May 24th. In order for us to open, though, we are required to comply with mandated guidelines to ensure the safety and health of everyone in the midst of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we walk through these uncharted waters together! We are excited to be able to meet at our new location - 371 Bay Street, Fall River.
Guidelines and Instructions:
While we are thrilled to have our church open we understand if you do not feel comfortable about being in a public setting and decide to wait to attend service in person. We will continue to offer our online services so you will still be able to join us from your home. Streaming on Facebook live at 11am and the recording placed into our video archives.
Due to mandated social distancing, we will be conducting two services; one at 9 AM and one at 11 AM.
If you do not feel well, please stay home.
Please be aware we will not be able to offer nursery or Sunday school services at this time. Once the state gives us clearance we will open these programs up.
Upon arrival, please park in the front or rear parking lots.
The only open entrance to the church at this time will be the main doors on the Bay Street side. There is a walkway around the building from the back parking lot, which is handicap accessible. The main hallway will have one ‘lane’ for entry and one ‘lane’ for exit.
We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the service to allow time to get acclimated to all the guidelines.
We will be following CDC guidelines:
The building will be cordoned off allowing entrance to the sanctuary only with the exception of the use of the single unisex bathroom located in the fellowship room.
Everyone who wishes to attend must wear a mask unless they have a written note from a doctor. Children under the age of 2 should not wear a mask. For children between the ages of 2-5, the wearing of face masks is at the discretion of the parents. (Exception: per MA Safety Standards for Places of Worship - "A person who declines to wear a face covering or mask because of a medical condition or disabling condition shall NOT be required to produce documentation verifying the condition")
Please do not hug or shake hands with other people.
Please observe the 6 foot social distancing mandate.
Seats have been separated to accommodate the various family unit sizes - one, two, three, four, etc. Please do not move the chairs. If you need help please ask an elder or deacon.
Hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed throughout the building for use.
Only drinks that are covered will be allowed into the building.
Your tithes and offerings can be placed in our offering box located by the sanctuary entrance doors.
The building will be sanitized after and in between each service. Therefore it will be necessary that we ask you to leave the building within 10 minutes after the conclusion of the service.
Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation!
